Surprisingly high-quality, fresh sushi from an unassuming strip-mall location. I ordered the Rainbow Roll and the Tale of Two Tunas, and both were excellent. The fish was fresh, the rolls were well prepared, and the portions were generous. I stopped by around 8:30 PM, and most of the chairs had already been placed on the tables, so dine-in service seemed limited at that point. I opted for takeout instead, which worked out well. Overall, a great find, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

We had an amazing sushi 🍣experience, and Alex made it even better! She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her recommendations were excellent, and her positive attitude really stood out. Great service like this makes all the difference. We’ll definitely be coming back — thank you, Alex! 🍣 🥐 🍤 😋

I had to redo my review. I usually have a great experience with my family. We are in and out as happy as can be. Today however, there was a rude man behind the counter. So rude infact that the lady who was with him how is usually nice felt like she had to be extra nice to.make up for his lack of care and rudeness. I came in twice today. Earlier for the happy hour in which I only got one scoop of tuna. Where that man was arguing with me that it was already two scoops. He proceeded to remove the tuna from my already made bowl and throw it back into the original dish and sparsely added tuna to the scoop to make 1 scoop into what he called 2. It was not even filled to the top. One was half full the other maybe a quarter. But he argued it was 2. Then he said they were all of out of tuna for the day. I asked again and he said "yes, we are all out of tuna for the day". I had 2 more bowls to order in which I ended up not ordering. That was at 3. It now 5 and I missed happy hour. My daughter still wanted to see what was there after work . So I brought her and there is TUNA! Fresh tuna! Again he was rude even though I stepped back watching hopping my daughter would have a different exp

I came here on 2/17 and I got terrible food poisoning from the Fistbump burrito . The tuna made me very sick and it tasted very funny to begin with . It had a very strong metallic flavor .Won’t be returning:(

Let me start by saying I could tell everyone was pretty new here, so the rating isn’t as low as I would have probably rated if they had been around for long time. I will definitely try again next time I’m in town to give it another chance and update the review. Here is why Sushi Freak only gets three stars for now… Pros: Cute little sushi eatery that is aesthetically pleasing. It is pretty roomy, even for being a little crowded when we were there. The staff, albeit seemed pretty new, were very friendly and seemed to be really trying. My husband enjoyed his roll, he got the New Mexican Roll. Cons: I got the Crunch Roll (a typical roll at most sushi restaurants). I was not impressed for a couple reasons, the first being that the seaweed was tuff, which is typically a sign of it not being as fresh as it should be. Secondly the panko crunch had an odd flavor, it seemed either old or maybe left out too long? The egg rolls tasted like any frozen egg roll and wasn’t bad, just wasn’t something I would order again. As shown in the photo, the ginger was scarce, literally two small pieces were put on my tray. Lastly, the tray itself had a film on it, like it was washed but then dried with a
